Meet Lisa Björk, Your Awesome Photographer
Hi, I’m Lisa, and I’m a fun documentary wedding and family photographer from Sweden!
I’ve had some nicknames, but I’ve mostly forgotten them. I call myself “The Master” sometimes. For fun…and also because I am. Nobody else calls me that though, sadly (I keep hoping one day it’ll catch on).
My Origin Story
I have a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism, and for many years I worked as a reporter, editor, and press photographer at national newspapers and magazines. But this work didn’t make me happy. I had other creative ambitions that I felt a calling to pursue. I wanted to do something that would make my heart race! So I started my own photography business and began capturing the joyful moments in people’s lives – shots of people having fun, being in love, and celebrating with one another. I quickly fell in love with documentary wedding photography and family photos, and I haven’t looked back since!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hanging out with my family, hosting dance parties, and tending my extra large tomato garden at my home in Risudden, Swedish Lapland.
A Passion For Authenticity And Love Of All Kinds
I truly believe that everyone’s love story is special and unique, and that every love story deserves to be told with care and authenticity. I take great pride in my work as an LGBTQ+ wedding photographer and have a deep reverence for romance in all its many forms.

A Globetrotter At Heart
I’m based in a tiny village in Lapland in Northern Sweden, and I know Stockholm like the back of my hand after living there for more than a decade. I’m always travelling for work, and every photography package I offer includes travel as a standard offering.
My passport is Swedish, but my heart is international. I’ve travelled the world my whole life, studying and working in many different countries. No matter where your love story takes you, I’m ready to go on the adventure with you, camera in tow! There’s nowhere on Earth I won’t travel to capture authentic, creative wedding photos.

The Facts of Lisa
I drive like a goddess.
But only forward. Backwards is harder, especially with a trailer. Also, I can’t pocket park. I’d rather drive around the block over and over than subject myself to pocket parking.
I used to work as a driver for superstars and royalty.
This is true, and classified. Don’t tell anybody else. I did NOT have to pocket park! Ever!
I love to dance, and I’m fairly good at it.
I dance exactly like this. Okay, not exactly like that. But close (kind of).
I rock at baking bread.
I’d probably win Sweden’s best baker, if I ever entered the competition. I don’t feel like entering the competition right now, though, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.
I am terribly afraid of heights.
Once I tried to cure it by jumping New Zealand’s highest bungee jump–8.5 seconds of freefalling. Let me tell you: this did not cure my fear of heights. I still get cold sweats when I think about it, 15 years later.
I am a great singer.
My kids don’t think so, but they just don’t know what they’re talking about. I got a standing ovation once while doing karaoke in Malaysia. True story.
I love ice cream and horses.
I also love my new mountain bike. It’s like a steel horse, but I don’t have to feed it.
