Fun and modern October Wedding in Gothenburgs countryside
Gothenburg. It is the hottest October-day that has ever been measured in 200 years in Sweden. The nature looks like it is on fire and the light is pure gold all day. The light is always beautiful in October and I wish more people should consider having a fall wedding. This is a fun and modern October wedding outside of Gothenburg.
When I first meet Anna and Johan, I knew this was going to be one of those epic and fun weddings where everything could happen. They are both all about high energy, having fun, and very easygoing. Of course, their friends and family are the same and the whole day you would just hear laughter and joy coming from everywhere. The couple gets ready in two different locations, before we meet up for a fun portrait session with their best friends.
Plan the magic with music
The ceremony takes place in a big, white old church just a car ride from their home. It is filled with love, beautifully written vows, and non the least music. One of the aunts is a professional opera singer and surprises the couple with some pretty good (read amazing) tunes. It is goosebump good. When she is done most checks are wet with tears. Yes, mine too. Having someone perform live music during your wedding day is actually my number one best advices for someone who is planning a wedding. (read here!). It can totally change the atmosphere. If you don’t know a professional opera singer then there is plenty of great musicians out there to hire for the day!
80 people in the living room
The champagne-mingle takes place at their own churchyard. Yes church-front-yard. They live in an old church with their own church bells that rings every Friday at noon, and as it happens also when dinner is ready to be served this particular night. 80 people are seated for dinner in their living room. It’s a little bit tight but its intimate and just lovely. The extremely high ceiling makes a fantastic atmosphere for this special occasion. It is a fun and modern wedding and nobody want it to end.
